Leverage self-service features
Ability to request a new feed
Users will be able to request a new automatic holdings feed directly from the new Collection Manager home page. This will allow libraries to request a feed without the added step of contacting OCLC Support. Each provider's specific requirements are built into the request form to ensure all the necessary pieces of data are submitted to setup a new feed successfully.
Options to Edit, Pause or Resume a feed
The action column of the Automatic holdings feed table will give users the option to Edit, Pause or Resume a specific feed. This will allow users to edit or pause a feed. When the library is ready to restart a feed, the only step needed is to go back to the Action column and choose Resume.

Request Language of Cataloging preferences
Collection Manager now supports collection-level language of cataloging preferences for libraries that catalog in languages other than English. This new functionality provides greater flexibility in managing bibliographic record connections:
- Default behavior: Every knowledge base title is matched to a WorldCat bibliographic record, with brief English records created when English matches are unavailable
- New preference setting: Libraries can now set a preferred cataloging language at the collection level to maintain links between knowledge base titles and non-English WorldCat records
- Flexible options: Libraries can link to existing non-English records when available or create new records in their preferred cataloging language as needed
- Persistent connections: Language preferences are preserved as WorldCat evolves, ensuring consistent record linking over time
- The Language of Cataloging is determined by the language specified in the 040 $b field of the MARC record.
Note: This feature must be enabled by contacting OCLC Support.
