Assign Authorization and Password

Find out how to access and use the Assign Authorization and Password window in Connexion client.

Purpose of the Assign Authorization and Password window

Assign an authorization and password to a local file for interactive logon and for batch processing logon for that local file.

 Note: If you do not assign an authorization and password to a local file, the client uses those you specify in Tools > Options > Authorizations, if present.

Access the Assign Authorization and Password window

  1. Navigate to File > Local File Manager > Authorization.
  2. Enter an authorization and password.
  3. Click OK.

Assign Authorization and Password window: Features and buttons

Feature How to use
Authorization text field Enter an OCLC authorization.
Password text field Enter the password associated with the authorization.

 

Button Click the button to...
OK If you do not assign an authorization and password to a local file, the client uses those you specify in Tools > Options > Authorizations, if present.
Cancel Close the window and cancel any authorization and/or password you entered.
