I am trying to upload a file to the Project Client and am getting 'Error in the application'
Symptom
- The upload Summary error message 'Error in the application.'

- CONTENTdm Project Client
Resolution
You may be seeing this message if you are ingesting a PDF file that is encrypted/password protected. To validate this is the issue:
- Open the file in any PDF editing software
- Remove password protections from the file and save
- Try to ingest the file again
If you are still seeing the error message contact OCLC Support and include the file as an attachment.
