Manage web links

Customize and configure web links to be used in your Next-Generation Notification templates.

To add a My Account or custom web link to a template, enter ${ and type the Name of the desired web link into a text block. Select the web link based on the name configured. Refer to Create a template for more information. 

My Account

Edit the Display text for the following links to sections of My Account:

  • Checkouts
  • Requests
  • Fees
  • Borrowing History
  • Profile

To edit the Display text:

  1. Click the Edit button for each of the sections above.
  2. Enter the desired text in the Display text box.
    • Group institutions will be able to edit the display text for each additional supported language. 
  3. Click Save.

Custom Web Links

Enter up to 200 custom web links to add to your Next-Generation Notification templates. Previously entered custom web links will appear alphabetically by name. 

  1. Click the Create web link button.
  2. On the New Web Link screen, enter the following settings:
    Setting Description
    Name

    Enter a unique name for each custom web link.

    • 100 character limit
    URL

    Enter the URL for the custom web link. The same URL can be used multiple times per image. 

    • 2,000 character limit
    Anchor text

    Enter the text for the anchor text for the custom web link. 

    • 100 character limit

    For group institutions, additional anchor text can be added for each supported language within a group.

  3. Click Save

To remove a Custom Web Link, click the Delete button. A confirmation dialog appears. Click Delete to delete the custom web link. 

To edit a custom web link, click the Edit button.
