Why are my off-system requests going to Unfilled so quickly?

Symptom
  • Off-system request ages to unfilled within a few days.
Applies to
  • WorldShare ILL
  • Tipasa
Resolution
  1. Request is aged to unfilled according to the Days to Respond setting in the Partner record, accessed through OCLC Service Configuration - WorldShare ILL - Address book.
  2. The default  is set to 2 days for copies and 4 days for loans.
  3. To update, select the relevant Partner record in OCLC Service Configuration - WorldShare ILL - Address book.
  4. Edit this record and increase the number of  Days to Respond for copies and loans
  5. Save record.
