I'm having trouble downloading a file from the Article Exchange server

Symptom

The browser will not permit you to download an article that a lender supplied using Article Exchange and you get a "HTTP Status 500" error message.

Answer

Download the file from the Preview that is always supplied with Copy requests that are lent using Article Exchange. Use the following method:

1. Open the Request Form in WorldShare ILL.
2. Click Preview.
3. Select the Download option.

If you don't see a download option in your preview, you should be able to select Print and then print the item as a PDF file.
