I am going to have OCLC Host my Email Server for ILLiad, what Customization Manager changes do I need to make?

• You are having OCLC host your Email Server in ILLiad and you need to know what settings to change in ILLiad

Resolution

Here are the steps you need to take for updating your ILLiad Customization Manager:

1. Change the EmailSMTPServer to mailhost.illiad.oclc.org
2. Set the EmailSMTPPort to 25
3. Make sure the SMTPUserID and the SMTPPassword are blank.
4. The EmailSecure key needs to be No.
5. Then you will need to restart the ILLiad System Manager Service on the ILLiad Server.  If you are hosted by OCLC, then please contact {{support}.
