How do I fix the ILLiad Copyright WebReport when it shows items that have copyright payment required when they should not be in the report?

  • You are finding items in the Copyright WebReport that should not have any fees associated with them and you want them cleaned up

Resolution

Here are the steps you take to clean up the requests that have copyright payment in them when they should not:

  1. After generating the Copyright WebReport, you copy the Transaction number from the report and search for the Transaction in ILLiad.
  2. Once you get to the Transaction, click on the Copyright ribbon on the top of the Transaction.
  3. Select the "Remove Payment" icon.
  4. Save the change.
  5. Once you have fixed all the issues you have with the report such as items that are beyond five years and they had a copyright payment required on them, then our report will be up to date.
