Why are my holdings not showing on my abstract only or index only collections?

  • WorldShare Collection Manager

Abstract only and index only collections are not loaded to the WorldCat knowledge base since there is no full text available for these resources. No links would appear in WorldCat Discovery or in the A to Z list for these resources.

WorldShare Collection Manager cannot set holdings on 4 types of content availability. These are:

  • Abstract
  • Index
  • Selected full-text
  • Other

If you hold items with any of these content availability types in a collection, they will not show as held by your institution.
