I am getting the error "Unable to open file in exclusive mode".

This can be corrected by using the Compact/Repair tool.

  1. Go to File > Local File Manager.
  2. Select the file path of the file that is causing the error.
  3. Click Compact/Repair.

After the tool completes running, check to see if the error appears again.  If it does, the file may have become corrupt and must be replaced.
