Clicking the "View" button to view an item opens a new application window, and the Project Client crashes after the application cannot find the file

Symptom

  • You may see an error message from the new application that says the following: "There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found."

Resolution

This issue is coming from the local device and/or the application external to the Project Client. Please consult your local IT department.
