Side panel

The Side panel consists of the following areas:

Input Controls pane (Input controls pane icon)

This pane provides a way to quickly add or remove certain criteria from a report or to change output. The table below lists the options available in this pane. If an icon is greyed out, it is not available for use.

Item Button Description
New Input controls pane new button Allows you to assign a new input control.
Map Input controls pane map button Allows you to see an outline of all of the input controls used in a document.
Reset Input controls pane reset button Allows you to remove all filters applied by the input controls.

User Prompt Input pane (User prompt input pane icon)

This pane provides a way to pull different data into a report (e.g., change the date parameters). The table below lists the options available in this pane. If an icon is greyed out, it is not available for use.

Item Button Description
Advanced User prompt input pane advanced button Allows you to adjust the prompts you originally entered.
Run User prompt input pane run button Allows you to run the report again to capture new data after new parameters have been entered in the prompts.

Available Objects pane (Available objects pane icon)

This pane lists all of the objects that have been used in the report's query to retrieve the data available in the report. You can use drag and drop to move objects in and out of blocks of data as well as to create new blocks of data.

Document Structure and Filters pane (Document structure and filters pane icon)

This pane allows you to view all of the elements that make up a report. You can click a report element and move it to another position in the tree structure.
