Requested holding cannot be found error

Symptom
  • When attempting to make a change to an item record, you get the error "Requested holding cannot be found".

Resolution

This error appears when an LHR that is set up as a single-part item holdings record has an 866 tag inside it. It can be fixed by moving the content of the 866 tag into an 876 $3 and then deleting the 866 tag.
