Why do I get an "Authentication failed" error when trying to log in to FileX

  • You get an "Authentication failed" error when trying to log in to FileX

Resolution

This is usually caused because of an incorrect username or password.

  1. Check that there are no spaces in front or behind your username and password.
  2. Contact OCLC Support to confirm your username and password are correct.
