What to put in the category column?
For the “category” column in this universal re-mapping spreadsheet, the category name can be library-defined and does not need to come from any officially controlled vocabulary.
The purpose of this column is twofold:
- To allow libraries to organize into logical categories the work they are doing to reduce harm in the subject description.
- To allow other collaborators on this spreadsheet to quickly find work that may be relevant to their user population or any metadata work they are doing.
