I have all cataloging roles, why am I getting errors in Record Manager?
Symptom
- You see an error when adding a record to an export list: "A system error has occurred. Try again."
- You receive any errors when attempting to use export lists or when exporting records

Resolution
Some roles in Record Manager are more restrictive and will cause issues when added to accounts, even if you have roles with higher permissions as well. The Cataloging Evaluation role was used when Record Manager was initially being rolled out so that users could log in to see and evaluate the tool. It is no longer used and shouldn't be assigned to anyone, as it is a common cause for errors in the site.
