How do I remove lenders from a Custom Holdings Group such as LVIS?

Symptom
  • You have configured a custom holdings group of lending libraries, such as LVIS (Libraries Very Interested in Sharing), and you want to block some lenders that you don't want to borrow from

Resolution

Log in to Service Configuration and follow these steps:

  1. In Service Configuration, under WorldShare ILL>Custom Holdings Groups, select the group you want to edit.
  2. Delete the libraries you don't want to be in that group. See more information on deleting an institution from a custom holdings group here: Custom Holdings Groups
