Can Relais send notification emails from my organization's email domain?
Applies to
- Relais
Answer
Unfortunately, no. Often Relais libraries would like to send emails from their own domain, but Relais emails cannot be made DMARC compliant.
Relais can send emails from donotreply@relais-host.com, and they will arrive as expected. If Relais sends an email from donotreply@abcd.edu, but the email security system notices it's actually coming from a Relais server and not abcd.edu, it will block the email.
