Why do Rapid requests come into Electronic Delivery in ILLiad with No ILL Number Match?

Symptom
  • Rapid requets come into Electronic Delivery, but they still need to be matched manually within Electronic Delivery.
Applies to
  • ILLiad
Resolution

Requests that come into ILLiad will only match if they contain the information needed in the "verified" fieldname of the WorkFormMapping table. In the Customization Manager, you can search for WorkFormMapping to see the table. There, the OCLCFieldName "verified" will show the information necessary to complete that match. For example, if the ILLiadFields for "verified" are "<TN:<#TransactionNumber>><#Odyssey>", then each request would need to have the transaction number and Odyssey IP. Often, RapidX files will arrive in ILLiad with one of those fields missing or incomplete, resulting in No ILL Number Match. Once the records are matched, you can process as you normally would.

If the problem remains, check to make sure the  lender is Trusted.
