Export bibliographic records from an export list

Export an individual MARC 21 WorldCat bibliographic record using TCP/IP
In order to export records with TCP/IP, you must have it profiled in your export preferences.
- From the MARC 21 editor for a record, click Record in the top navigation.
- From the Record drop-down menu, select the Send to flyout menu then select Local System (via TCP/IP).
Export a list of records using TCP/IP
Note: Institutions with a firewall must configure it to recognize and accept data from the following IP address in order to export records directly from OCLC into an ILS: 132.174.100.234
- In the left navigation, select Export Lists. Bibliographic record export lists are displayed by default.
- Click the name of the list you want to export.
- (Optional) If you would like to remove any records from the export, select the check box next to the record(s), then click the Delete button at the top of the list.
- Click Export and select Send to local system (via TCP/IP) from the drop-down menu.
Export a list of records to your local machine
- In the left navigation, select Export Lists. Bibliographic record export lists are displayed by default.
- Click the name of the list you want to export.
- (Optional) If you would like to remove any records from the export, select the check box next to the record(s), then click the Delete button at the top of the list.
- Click Export and select Send to my computer from the drop-down menu. Depending on your individual browser settings, the exported file automatically downloads to a pre-selected file location, or the browser prompts you to open or save the exported file.
- Select Save File and then click OK.
