Collection Manager Fundamentals account roles

Find the WorldShare Collection Manager Fundamentals authorization roles available in the Admin module and compare the actions available for each role.

  • SLE Admin
  • SLE Collection Manager Supervisor
  • SLE Collection Manager Staff

Collection Manager roles and descriptions

Role Description
Everyone

This check box must remain selected.

SLE Admin

Staff members with this role can:

  • Create, edit, and delete other user accounts
  • Create, edit, and view data sync collections
  • Perform all tasks in Collection Manager Fundamentals

Note: If your institution has access to Record Manager SLE, the staff member can perform all tasks in Record Manager SLE.

SLE Collection Manager Supervisor 

Staff members with this role can:

  • Perform all tasks in Collection Manager Fundamentals but cannot manage other user accounts
SLE Collection Manager Staff

Staff members with this role:

  • Have read-only access but cannot perform tasks in Collection Manager Fundamentals or manage other user accounts
