Fields to Apply

Find out how to access and use the Fields to Apply window in Connexion client.

Purpose of the Fields to Apply window

When you set a constant data record as the default, select fields to apply each time you apply it. Select one of the following:

  • Fixed field
  • Variable field
  • Both fixed and variable fields

Access the Fields to Apply window

  1. With a constant data record open, click Edit > Constant Data > Online > Set as Default.
    Or
    Create a constant data record (Cataloging > Create > Constant Data or <Ctrl><Shift><N>), and when you save it (Action > Save Record to Online Save File or <Ctrl><Alt><V>), in the Enter Constant Data Information window, select the Make Default Constant Data check box and click OK.
  2. Select which fields you want to apply each time you apply the default constant data to a record.
    • Fixed
    • Variable (default)
    • Both
  3. Click OK.

Feature How to use

Button name Click the button to...
OK Apply the selection and close the window.
Cancel Apply the selection and close the window.
