Toolbar Editor

Find out how to access and use the Toolbar Editor window in Connexion client.

Purpose of the Toolbar Editor window

Customize the main toolbar:

  • Add toolbar buttons
  • Delete toolbar buttons
  • Reset the toolbar to the default

 Note: You can select other ways to customize the appearance of the toolbar on the Tools > Options > Toolbar tab. See also Customize the toolbar.

Access the Toolbar Editor window

  1. Navigate to Tools > Toolbar Editor or press <Alt><T><E>.
  2. Drag and drop a toolbar button in the Menu Items list to the toolbar to add it, or drag and drop a toolbar button from the toolbar to the Menu Items list to remove it from the toolbar.
  3. (Optional) Click Reset to reset the toolbar to the default (see a list of buttons on the default toolbar and the order in which they appear).
  4. Click Close.

Feature How to use
Menu Items list
  • View a list of all available toolbar buttons and their corresponding menu commands.
  • To add a button to the toolbar, click and hold the image of the button in the Menu Items list, and drag and drop it where you want it in the toolbar. The button is added to the toolbar. Its image also remains in the Menu Items list. You can only add a button to the toolbar once.
  • To delete a button from the toolbar, click and hold the image of the button on the toolbar, and drag and drop it into the Menu Items list.
