ABBYY FineReader Engine 8.1 License Manager is the version of ABBYY included with CONTENTdm Project Client ver. 6.x. Support for this version has been deprecated as of 31 March, 2022.
Uninstall the old version of CONTENTdm Project Client and install the new version using the executable from Download the Project Client. With the current version of the Client installed, the license should be able to be activated.
