Patron Counts Summary

Overview

The Patron Counts Summary report displays patron counts by branch, custom category (e.g., major, class year), borrower category, and postal code (zip code). It provides information about the number of borrower or custom category patrons. You can use this report to verify a patron load or analyze the registered borrowers' distribution by category. In addition, visuals are provided for counts of patrons recently registered and approaching expiration.

Data refresh rate This report's data is updated nightly. It will be updated by 6 a.m. your institution's data center time. The data will be "as of" the end of the previous day.

Visual Description
Patron Expired Flag Select YN, or both to change all of the visuals in the report.
  • Click an option to deselect it.
  • By default, N is selected.
Report Selection Select one of the following options to change all visuals in the report.
Patron Count Displays your institution's current patron count.
Patron Count by Patron Borrower Category Displays your institution's patron count by patron borrower category.
  • Click a patron borrower category or any section in the donut chart to change all visuals in the report.
  • Reclick the area to restore all visuals in the report to the default.
Patrons Recently Registered Displays the number of patrons registered within the last six months.
  • Click a month to change all visuals in the report.
  • Reclick the area to restore all visuals in the report to the default.
Patrons Nearing Expiration Displays the number of patron accounts expiring within the next six months.
  • Click a month to change all visuals in the report.
  • Reclick the area to restore all visuals in the report to the default.
Patron Count by Postal Code Displays your institution's patron count by postal code.
  • Click a postal code to change all visuals in the report
  • Reclick the area to restore all visuals in the report to the default.
