An item in my Circulation report isn't showing an update that was made to the WorldCat record

  • There is an item in a Circulation report (e.g. Circulation Item Inventories) that is not showing updated data that should reflect a recent change to the WorldCat record.

If an item is not showing updated data (e.g. Material Format) after a recent change to the WorldCat record, try resaving the item in Circulation. Resaving the item may help refresh the record to update the data in Analytics.

  1. Open the item in Circulation
  2. Click "Edit item"
  3. Click "Save item"

Once the item is resaved, the data should be updated after an overnight update. Check the desired report after the overnight refresh to see if the data was correctly updated. If it was not updated as you'd expect, contact OCLC Support with your OCLC Symbol, the barcode of the item, and the data that is showing incorrectly.
