Why are some buttons greyed out when editing an item in Circulation?

If an item does not have a barcode, the Place Hold, Create Schedule, Receive, and Report Missing buttons will be greyed out. You will need to give this item a barcode and save in order to click these buttons.
The Report Missing button can be greyed out if a multi-part item is incorrectly coded in the local holdings record (LHR) as a single-part item.
If the item does have a barcode, and the LHR is coded correctly, but these buttons are still greyed out, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Another way to test this is to open the same page in a private or incognito window in your browser.
