How can I get a list of all current Circulation patron accounts?

Answer

Option 1: You can use the Circulation Patron Full report from the OCLC File Exchange Server. This report is updated on Sundays. Follow the steps below:

  1. Connect to the OCLC File Exchange Server using an SFTP client like FileZilla
  2. Navigate to the folder /xfer/wms/reports
  3. Download the most recent version of Circulation Patron Report Full - it will be called OCLCSYMBOL.Circulation_Patron_Report_Full.YYYYMMDD.csv

Option 2: Or, if your library has access to Report Designer, you can also create a custom report following the steps below:

  1. In WorldShare, go to Analytics > Reports > Classic Launch Pad.
  2. You may need to click the back arrow icon Screenshot of the back arrow button and scroll down to select Web Intelligence.
  3. Select Universe and click OK.
  4. Select the Circulation Patron Information universe and click OK.
  5. Click through the items on the left, double-clicking on the items you wish to add to the report.
  6. Once done, click Run.
  7. Export the report. Under File, click the More icon Screenshot of the More button.  Then click Export, choose your options, and click Export again.
