Symptom
- EZproxy is in the address bar, but a sign-in screen is being presented from the provider's website. Below are examples of EZproxy formatted URLs.
- http://www.accessscience.com.cptest.idm.oclc.org/
Resolution
- If EZproxy is in the address bar, then the resource provider will see the traffic as having originated from the IP address of your Hosted EZproxy server, and should therefore be granting access on the basis of your IP registration. Therefore, in the first instance please verify the content provider has the EZproxy server IP address registered as an authorized IP address.
- If EZproxy is not in the address bar, then make sure the local IP address/campus IP addresses are registered with the provider (ExcludeIP)
