How do I see which IP I should use for ExcludeIP or AutoLoginIP?

Symptom

  • A ExcludeIP or AutoLoginIP needs to be added to config.txt, but it is not clear which IP EZproxy sees.

Applies to

  • All EZproxy versions

Resolution

A) Make a request from the computer in question to the EZproxy server.

The IP should show up in the EZproxy logfiles.

 

B) Check /ip on your EZproxy server from the computer in question.

Example:

https://ezproxy.example.com/ip
