I selected a title from a collection in Collection Manager, why is it not showing as being held by my library?

Symptom

  • A title is not showing as held by my institution, though it has been selected in a knowledge base collection in Collection Manager

Applies to

  • WorldCat Discovery
  • WorldShare Collection Manager

Resolution

If a title is not showing as held by your library after being selected in WorldShare Collection Manager, check that you have enabled WorldCat Holdings at the institution level and within the collection-level settings. New holdings may take 24-48 hours to appear in WorldCat Discovery.

If you've enabled WorldCat holdings and your holding is still not appearing after 48 hours, please contact OCLC Support with the following:

  • Your OCLC symbol
  • The OCLC number of the record
  • A link to the record in WorldCat Discovery
