How can I avoid getting article citation records in my WorldCat search results?
Applies to
- WorldCat Discovery
Answer
Citations for articles not cataloged in WorldCat may appear if your library has chosen to enable databases other than WorldCat. To exclude these results, perform an Advanced Search and limit the search database to just WorldCat or filter your results to just the WorldCat database.
NOTE: Your library must have WorldCat.org selected as a separate database in order to limit results to just WorldCat.
Libraries can make changes to the databases configured for searching in the OCLC Service Configuration under Metasearch Content > Default Databases and Licensed Content.
