"Oops. Something went wrong" error when inside the Discovery user portal

Symptom
  • You are trying to sign in to the user portal for Tipasa or WMS and get an error message saying "Oops. Something went wrong. You are not authorized to view this content."
  • Or, once signed in, navigating inside the user portal causes the same error message

Resolution

Make sure your account doesn't have the role of WorldShare ILL Partner assigned. This role is not to be used by any actual staff account. It's intended to be used for accounts that represent an institution that you are using off-system requests with, so someone not in the OCLC ILL network. It's not meant to be on a staff or patron account.

If your Tipasa account has this role assigned, remove it.
