How do I keep records from being merged by Duplicate Detection and Resolution (DDR)?

Answer

There are various ways to differentiate between two resources with similar bibliographic information to prevent DDR from merging those records. Information on differentiating bibliographic records can be found in Chapter 4, When to Input a New Record, of Bibliographic Formats and Standards and OCLC's Cataloging defensively series.
