Error filling request NCIP CheckoutItem call failed error in ReShare

  • You get the error "Error filling request. NCIP CheckoutItem call failed. " when scanning barcodes while using WMS third party integration into ReShare.

This usually means that there is an incorrect borrower type assigned to the patron record or a circulation policy issue disallowing circulation to the them. You'll want to check the patron's account in WMS to correct it.
