Our ILLiad instance is for testing purposes only. Any advice or warnings in taking this approach?
Symptom
- You built a new instance, installed ILLiad, and configured authentication, and everything appears to work fine. However, this new instance is not intended to be a production system, it's only for testing purposes for the time being. The new instance will be a development instance that we can clone into a production instance after extensive testing. Do you have any advice or warnings when taking this approach?
Applies to
- Illiad
Resolution
Make sure none of the ILLiad Services are running. For example, if the ILLiad Connection Manager service is running, it will sometimes download requests to the test server, not the production server. So for testing, set it up but do not have the ILLiad Services Running.
