How do I set it up so that Odyssey Requests are no longer sent automatically to the patron?

Symptom
  • You want to control the delivery of Odyssey Articles that are currently being delivered Automatically so they are never delivered Automatically

Resolution

To change the Automatic Delivery, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Customization Manager and change the OdysseyAutoElecDel key to "Never" from "Automatic."
  2. If you are self-hosted, you will need your Web Server Administrator to restart the ILLiad Odyssey Manager service.
  3. If you are hosted, you will need to contact OCLC Support.
  4. After we restart the ILLiad Odyssey Manager service, it is a good practice to restart your ILLiad Client on all your computers.

If you want the Odyssey Articles to be Automatically Delivered, the OdysseyAutoElecDel Key should be "Automatic."
