Overview
Record Manager supports the transliteration of Latin text to non-Latin text for all tags, subfields, and controlled links.
From the MARC 21 editor, select the field you want to transliterate.
From the Edit drop-down menu, select an alphabet from the Transliterate flyout menu. See available non-Latin alphabets below. You can also right-click the selected field to access the Transliterate flyout menu.
The transliterated text appears in a new field above the selected field. The new field and existing field are linked with a bracket.
