Unable to export bibliographic records from Record Manager to ALMA over TCP/IP

  •  I am unable to export bibliographic records from Record Manager to ALMA over TCP/IP

Resolution

It is recommended that when exporting bibliographic records to Alma ILS that a password of over ten characters is used. This password will need to be changed locally in Alma.  

To review your TCP/IP settings for exporting in Record Manager: 

  1. Select User Preferences 
  2. Select Exporting Bibliographic Records 
  3. Select the TCP/IP tab 
  4. Under Authentication options dropdown choose Logon ID 
  5. The ID and password settings will now display
