Do actions in Connexion show up immediately in WorldShare Record Manager?

Applies to
  • WorldShare Record Manager
  • Connexion
Answer

WorldShare Record Manager and Connexion are two ways to catalog inside the same environment.  As soon as a change is made to the record, it is reflected in both Connexion and Record Manager.  However, Connexion client allows for batch updates, meaning that multiple actions can be saved to a local file and then uploaded all at once.  If your institution is using a local file and batch processing of records, WorldShare Record Manager will not receive an update until the batch from Connexion client is loaded into production.
