Set and delete holdings

Discover how to set and delete WorldCat holdings from bibliographic records using the MARC 21 editor with the simplified cataloging role in Record Manager.

Set holdings

  1. From a bibliographic record, select the WorldCat Holding drop-down menu.
  2. From the WorldCat Holding drop-down menu, select Set. The system sets a WorldCat holding on the record.
    Or
    Click the Set Holding and Export button to set a holding and export the record without adding local data.

Delete holdings

  1. From a bibliographic record, select the WorldCat Holding drop-down menu.
  2. From the WorldCat Holding drop-down menu, select Delete.
