Resolution

InstallShield files are damaged and need replaced.  We're going to rename rather than delete them.  If this fixes the issue, delete the renamed folders below.

  1. Rename C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information to C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information.old.
  2. Rename C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\InstallShield to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\InstallShield.old.  If get an access denied message, reboot the computer and try the rename again.
  3. Run the Label program Setup program.  It should successfully install.
  4. Shift+right-click the desktop Label program icon and choose Run as administrator.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.  After the Label program starts, close it.  This creates any missing files and/or registry keys.
  5. Download OCLCPermissions.
  6. Right-click OCLCPermissions and choose Run as administrator.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  7. Click the Set Full Permissions button.
  8. Verify the top six entries all say read-write.
