I added a record to WorldCat, but when I exported it today it looks very different. What happened?
Symptom
- You added a record to WorldCat, but waited a while to actually export the record into your local system and it no looks different than the way you left it.

Resolution
Records added to WorldCat are open for editing by other users if you do not lock the record first and another user edited the record during the interim. If you exported the record in batch without editing out their changes, you would get the record with the updates in your export file, not your original.
