Uninstall Connexion client
Find out how to uninstall Connexion client.
When upgrading from version 2.63 or 3.0 to version 3.X, Windows will do an upgrade and not force you to uninstall the previous version. If you already have version 3.X and need to reinstall it, you will need to uninstall your current installation of 3.X first. If you are prompted to remove previous versions, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a program.
- Select OCLC Connexion client from the list of programs.
- Click Uninstall.
- Click Yes to confirm.
If you are having trouble uninstalling with this method, you can instead run the Connexion client 3.1 installer again, and you will be prompted to Remove OCLC Connexion client or alternatively Repair OCLC Connexion client.
Note: If you upgraded to client 3.X and decide to move back to client 2.63, you will need to uninstall client 3.X before installing client 2.63. Having both versions of the client on your computer at the same time would cause macro and other system failures.
