Label formats for use with the OCLC Cataloging Label Program

Find detailed descriptions of the four types of labels produced by the OCLC Cataloging Label Program.

The OCLC Cataloging Label Program can import labels from a file created with the Connexion browser. You can also create your own text file from your local system or other software which can be imported into the Label Program.  

The Label Program supports the following four label formats:

  • SP1 label format

  • SLB label format
    Learn the file specifications and view an example of a SLB label in the Cataloging Label Program.
  • SL4 label format
    Learn the file specifications and view an example of a SL4 label in the Cataloging Label Program.
