For multi-page records displayed as compound objects, the built-in Download button gives users a way to download a copy of the image or PDF displaying in the browser. If the compound object was stored with a Print PDF, then the Download button will also have an All option for downloading a complete, multi-page PDF version of that compound object.
Some CONTENTdm site managers have found this All menu option difficult for end users to locate and wanted to make the PDF download option more prominent in the UI. This customization inserts a dedicated PDF button in the CONTENTdm website and removes the All option from the built-in Download button. For items that have no Print PDF stored, this button will not appear.
