When you enter a new record into a CBS MARC 21 database that was made by using a create record template, when you edit or update an existing record in a CBS MARC 21 database, when you remote copy or remote derive a record from WorldCat, or when you make a copy in a CBS MARC 21 database yourself, several “automatic actions” are done on several fields and subfields.
