Why are my title counts from the Title Holdings by Material Format higher than my Item count in Branch Item Holdings by Material Format?

- You have a higher title count than item count in your reports and need to know why.

Resolution
The Title Holdings by Material Format report's Book format includes ebooks so all of your titles from the WorldCat knowledge base are counted. The Branch Item Holdings by Material Format report counts only items in Local Holdings records. To get a count of only your print items, you'll want to subtract your electronic titles. To get a count of only your electronic titles, use the Drill button to view the subformats and subtract all of the non-electronic formats from the count.
