Normalisation Rule Set The normalisation rule set in use (populated with the default rule set which is LATIN -1 (STANDARD -1)).
Renormalisation Time

It is possible to re-normalise all the data in the OLIB database from within OLIB Web. Set the Renormalisation Time field to the date and time on which you would like the re-normalisation process to begin. The process will begin at the specified date/time, and continue until it is completed.

OLIB updates the Renormalisation Results field to indicate when it ran and how long it took to complete, and clears the Renormalisation Time field.

Disable Recording of Browser Information

Yes/No whether to disable OLIB's internet browser recording mechanism. This information can be used at a later date to aid decisions on support for newer or older browsers / operating systems. If you allow browser information to be gathered, it is recorded in one of the standard reports in the Reports Library. Predefined report SYS002 User Agent Usage (Report Number -27) records this information which includes the date, application (OLIB Web / Folio), browser / search engine / operating system, number of times accessed. It stores information for the previous 6 months.

Example:

2016-04 OlibWeb Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0) 3

There are various online tools available for interpreting these results by querying one User Agent value at a time. For the above string for example -

Internet Explorer 9.0

Mozilla MozillaProductSlice. Claims to be a Mozilla based user agent, which is only true for Gecko browsers like Firefox and Netscape. For all other user agents it means 'Mozilla-compatible'. In modern browsers, this is only used for historical reasons. It has no real meaning anymore
5.0 Mozilla version
compatible Compatibility flag Indicates that this browser is compatible with a common set of features
MSIE 9.0 Name : Internet Explorer version 9.0
Windows NT 6.1 Operating System: Windows 7
WOW64 (Windows-On-Windows 64-bit) A 32-bit application is running on a 64-bit processor
Trident Layout engine for the Microsoft Windows version of Internet Explorer.
