Why are my users not authenticating after loading a new file to OCLC hosted EZproxy

Symptom

New Users add to the text file loaded to OCLC hosted EZproxy are not authenticating

OCLC hosted EZproxy

Resolution

Short introduction or instructions to follow these steps:

  1. Check the Email confirmation sent from OCLC and make sure records loaded as expected
  2. Check the first line of the file and make sure it is properly formatted:  all lowercase user:password in most cases.  
  3. Contact OCLC Support if not resolved
